All the workers and the health and safety officer then sign a form stating they have received full safety training. One of his colleagues notices that he abbreviates this instruction and does not address important aspects. Inadequate instruction poses a considerable risk to the workers, their colleagues, and the company’s optimal operation. Since his family and friends value personal loyalty, he wants to keep her discovery secret from her employee. Thus he accepts the signed health and safety instructions, speaks to his colleague in person, and tells him to instruct the following workers fully.
